The mentalization concept represents a significant enhancement of psychodynamically based psychotherapies. Unfortunately, however, it almost completely ignores the body. To this end, this book aims to combine mentalization-based and body-oriented psychotherapy approaches in a way that allows them to mutually enrich each other in patients' best interests. In theoretical and practice-related articles, nine Bioenergetic analysts and psychotherapists present new perspectives that result from a mentalization-based body psychotherapy in the fields of therapist training, clinical work and therapeutic practice.
