Scott Beatty co-authored the very first DC Universe Encyclopedia two decades ago and wrote DK's first Ultimate Guides devoted to DC's superheroes. A comics veteran, Scott's work includes the fan-favorites Robin: Year One, Batgirl: Year One, and Nightwing: Year One for DC. Outside of writing, Scott is teaching the next generation of graphic novelists and visual storytellers.
Dan Brooks is a writer who loves movies, comics, and video games. He is a co-author of DK's Star Wars Encyclopedia and his work has appeared on [...], [...], and the Charlotte Independent Picture House official site, among other outlets. Dan previously served as senior editor of [...] and [...] in an award-winning, decade-plus run at Lucasfilm Online. He lives in Charlotte with his wife and two sons.
