Beschreibung
"Welcome to the world, Merkisayre Sea Duble," he said to the foal, who'd stopped feeding and was looking right at him. There was something about his little face that made George think he'd be one to watch.

Duble the Shetland foal is happy living with his herd on the island of his birth, but he soon learns that life can turn on its head in the blink of an eye.
Too much is changing for Duble, and being taken from his home to start a new life is the final straw. Broken-spirited, he thinks he'll never find companionship again until he meets kind hearted Poppy.

A flighty and sensitive pony, he is certainly not the kind of mount Poppy wants for her one chance as a Shetland pony jockey, but with time running out for both of them, will she accept the challenge to help him overcome his fears and realise his destiny?

Prepare to be swept away by this heartwarming true story of Duble and Poppy. Together they embark on an amazing adventure, full of thrills and spills, as they defy all expectations to enter the action-packed world of Shetland pony racing.
