Abby R. Scala is a native New Yorker who grew up on the sandy beaches of Coney Island. An animal lover from a young age, she earned a B.S. degree in Animal Science from Rutgers University. Life led her to Connecticut, where she enjoyed a successful 40-plus year career in insurance. In retirement, Abby's passion for dogs flourished through dog sitting, keeping her connection to animals strong. Her book, I Don't Like It, reflects her love for dogs and aims to resonate with dog lovers, teenagers, and those considering adoption, sharing warmth and understanding through her experiences.
