Kathryn Henderson is a mostly retired nurse whose work has been with young people and their families in schools and communities to ensure that all of us have safe and healthy places to learn and [...] retirement, Kathryn found her way to the very real Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary through a series of events and conversations. Over the last seven years or so, Kathryn has spent time cleaning stalls, filling water troughs, and caring and communing with the animals and humans who live there. It was during the Covid pandemic that her dear neighbor Stella started going with her out to the farm. Little did they know, there would be a story that would come from their time at Lighthouse Farm.Kathryn loves animals and plants and most people...and the Earth. She has much gratitude for all she has in this life, including the love and care of her family, dear friends, and neighbors. This is her first and maybe her only story.Kathryn resides on the Santiam River in Oregon with her dear husband John, their three dogs, Zeva Lou, Woody, and Birdie, and their two cats, Skylar and Panda. Every now and again, if the wind is blowing gently in just the right direction, she can hear the twitterings and sounds of the Earth Fairies, the Guardians of the Earth's Magic.
