Ron Toomey, a former Secondary School teacher, is an Emeritus Professor at Victoria University in Australia. He managed the research program for the Australian Government's Values Education Program.
Terence Lovat, a former Secondary School teacher, is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Newcastle in Australia, Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, UK, and Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, where he is attached to the UNESCO Chair in Values Education. From 2003-2010, he was Principal Investigator for the Australian Government's Values Education Program.
