Über den Autor

The Editor: Frank Mehring earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree at the Justus Liebig Universität Gießen and is Assistant Professor at the Department of Cultural Studies of the John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies at the Free University Berlin. His previous publications include Karl/Charles Follen: Deutsch-Amerikanischer Freiheitskämpfer (2004), Sphere Melodies: Die Manifestation Transzendentalistischer Ideen in der Musik von Charles Ives und John Cage (2003), and Sight & Sound: Naturbilder in der Englischen und Amerikanischen Romantik (2001).
