Maki Kaneko is associate professor of Japanese art at the University of Kansas, Lawrence. Andreas Marks is the Mary Griggs Burke Curator of Japanese and Korean Art and Director of the Clark Center for Japanese Art at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
