The author started his spiritual journey with only some rudimentary knowledge of the Bible and indeed the Christian faith. He did not fully understand the biblical concept of salvation; the concept of healing or miracle was inconceivable to him. By God's grace and provision, his faith in Jesus and knowledge in the Bible grew. Apart from the teaching he has received from preachers and revelation through reading the scripture and praying, the author is convinced that the Holy Spirit teaches him in ordinary daily activities, including those on the job, leading to the growth and maturity of his Christian faith.

Über den Autor
Han B Xiao became a Christian in his mid-30s. He finds that the Christian faith is a continuous and ever progressing journey. His faith was elementary for the first ten years, then it had an incredible growth spurt following attending the Alpha Course at Holy Trinity Brompton Church, London. While being involved in the Alpha course, his faith continued to grow and gradually became the focus of his life. At the same time, the daily life activities particularly the dealings with his patients reminded him of the presence of God and prompted him to seek the wisdom of God daily. This book is a collection of a small number of his patients who have played an important role in the growth and maturity of his Christian [...] is married, has a grown-up daughter and two grandchildren, and he lives in London with his wife. He is a cardiologist working in the NHS, UK.
