Beschreibung

Tantric Mothering: A Path of Practical Love, Spiritual Growth, and Planetary Change, embarks on a journey that redefines the mother-child relationship as a profound spiritual partnership. It explores this partnership from pregnancy through infancy and beyond, rooted in a mutual exchange of deep, innate love. The incomparable synchronization between mother and infant of bodies, minds, hearts and souls is designed for the survival of the species but reaches far beyond that. When circumstances allow this love to flourish, it carries within it an enormous potential for transformation - both on a personal and global scale. What begins as ordinary love becomes a gateway to Infinite Love, paving the way for a more compassionate and caring world.

Through the heartfelt words of mothers themselves, this book shows how the mother-child relationship can:

    • Serve as a gateway to experiencing infinite love in its truest form
    • Help mothers integrate meditative practices into daily parenting routines
    • Reinforce parenting as a spiritual practice in itself

The insights in these pages reflect the voices of mothers and the enduring wisdom of Tantra Yoga, as embodied in the teachings of Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar.

Über den Autor
Didi Ananda Uttama is an acharya or renunciate nun in the international socio-spiritual movement, Ananda Marga. Didi (a Sanskrit word meaning 'sister') was born and raised in the U.S and became an acharya in the early 80's. In the 1970's, Didi was active in the then-fledgling homebirth movement in the U.S. Having been educated as a registered nurse, she assisted mothers and families in southern Oregon in giving birth at home. Her work as Didi, teaching meditative practices of Tantra Yoga and running service projects, has always retained a close connection to the journey of mothers and children. She currently is the Director of a Mother-Infant Center in Athens for refugee and migrant mothers, mainly from the Middle East and Africa.
