"[Glenn's] study has necessitated the analysis of a complex assemblage of human skeletal remains; specifically, it has required the identification of body parts, age, sex, non-metric traits, and pathology. One of the exciting aspects of his research, is the way in which he has drawn in and applied the techniques developed within forensic anthropology for the skeletal analysis of victims of mass mortality events. In particular he has shown an excellent understanding of the complexities of quantification to establish a realistic estimate of the number of individuals present. Careful taphonomic analysis has shed important light on the process by which the assemblage formed, while study of the pathologies has elucidated key aspects of the life of those that were buried." -Dr. Richard Thomas, Senior Lecturer in Archaeology, University of Leicester
