Use of multiple single tuned filters in power supply systems has increased rapidly over the past decade. This trend is associated with increasing use of power electronic and electric arcing devices in industrial power supply systems. The book presents concern of transients in filter circuits under typical switching events in power system supplying industrial loads. The manuscript analyzes methods of selecting filter circuits involving multiple single tuned filters on the example of an arc furnace power supply system. The methods is based on existing IEEE Standards and simulation data of transients within the power supply system.

Über den Autor
Michä Gajdzica was born in Sosnowiec, Poland, in 1986. He received the [...].in power and electrical engineering from AGH University of Science and Technology, Cracow, in 2011 and 2012, respectively. In 2016 he completed his PhD on transient in industrial power systems with disturbing loads. He is the Specialist in CHP in Electrical [...] Cracow.
