Über den Autor

Born in New Jersey, USA, Bret Mayer was first captivated by kanji in high school thanks to Dragonball among other manga/anime. In 2012, Mayer became the first westerner to pass grade 1 of the Japan Kanji Aptitude Test. Mayer now operates as a Ritsumeikan University-certified "Kanji Educator," sharing the joy of kanji on radio, television and online.
